I am about to start a new season of the show that over in France, and I can’t wait to use this system. It has been a long time coming. It is genius in its simplicity, allowing for in-depth exposure control in a way that makes the most sense just like A.A.'s Zone system.
I have a question, please forgive my ignorance and I apologize if this has previously been addressed.
Regarding compatibility, I will be shooting with the Alexa 35, monitoring with Sony monitors, and I was planning on using SmallHD monitors to implement the EL Zone. Do I need to worry about all of these different systems in terms of getting an accurate reading and representation of the EL system? Will the correct values be lost in the shuffle from camera to Sony to Small HD?
I reached out to SmallHD to ask about the use of LogC4 and their monitors, but I have not heard back yet.
P.S. It was nice to sit with you at the ASC Awards, and congratulations!
SmallHD has logC4 for the Alexa35 in the latest firmware, so you should be able to loop through another monitor to the SmallHD, or use an additional output from the camera body and go direct to the SmallHD.
Fantastic tool - have been using religiously for a smoother and simplified workflow with much more accuracy. Hope to see more camera and monitoring manufacturers standardize this system as myself and industry peers continue beating the drum for it’s integration. Thank you!

Thanks for creating and pushing for universal application of a game changing system!
I'd really just like to see this roll out across the board for LUMIX any hopes of that?
